Meritize Fund Your Future Grant Rules and Eligibility:
Current Grant Period will run from Friday, July 1, 2022 through Friday, August 5th, 2022. One recipient will be chosen in a random drawing on Monday, August 8th, 2022. Recipient will only receive one grant per lifetime per person. Must be a Meritize borrower to be eligible, and the recipient’s loan must have been disbursed by the close date of grant period (Friday, August 5th). Must be an active student at Northwest Lineman College and will be verified by school at the time of drawing. A $500 grant will be applied directly to the recipient’s principal loan balance. Must be 18 years or older. Must not have graduated before grant period ends. If borrower received an 100% refund on their Meritize loan, they would not be eligible for the grant.

  • CPR Certification
  • Climbing Certification
  • Pole-top Rescue Certification
  • Metering Certification
  • Enclosed-space Rescue Certification
  • Aerial-lift Rescue Certification
  • Digger Derrick Safety
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health ET&D card
  • Smart Grid and Electrical Devices Certification (Optional)
  • Crane Operator Certification (Optional)
